How long does it take for a tattoo on your shoulder blade to heal?

I'm planning on getting a tattoo when I go away to college in four months, I'm getting the treble clef/bass clef heart on my right shoulder blade. Does that hurt more than other places? Also, how long does it take to heal? and how can I take care of it?
