How badly do hip tattoos hurt?

Hip tattoos can hurt. my rib cage piece hurt like a mutha and it stretched to the hip. If its smallish anyone can take that pain. My tramp stamp didn't hurt really at all (not too bad right in the middle is the worst). The color shouldn't matter its based on the type of needle, coloring uses a bigger and wider set of needles for shading and such. Its a toss up fro me on that issue. Everyone who says tattoos don't hurt is either a liar or delusional, but that's the fun in tattoos ..you know it will hurt but it lasts forever and is your proof that your one tough chick. I say go for it....get what you want regardless of opinions cause if your gonna do it make it something YOU want and don't settle.
