Playing the bass guitar?

I agree with Anthony's answer except for 5. Professional musicians almost never use tab. If you get a gig that requires reading its gonna be standard notation. And your ability to read treble clef will help you learn to read bass clef more easily; you already know how to read rhythm and count, so all you really need to do is to learn to match the staff notation to pitches. Hint: to read bass clef, pretend the note you are seeing is one line or space up. For example the lowest line on bass clef is G, which is the line below G on treble clef. And the lowest space on bass clef is A, which is the space below A on treble clef.
