If he doesnt have the balls to ask you out in the first place he will end up not telling you anything in your relationship you will never talk if he asks you out say no the first time then tell him that you like him in like a week and if he asks you anything about saying no say that he should have asked you face to face it will get on his nerves and make him feel like he has to hang out thats when he'll do it face to face and you guys will also get to hang out, my gf did it to me and it worked.
