Will earrings stay in if you're in the ocean?

I just got both my cartilage and 2nd holes pierced. I'm going to the beach next week, but the time for the piercings won't be up. I remember last year my brother's friend's earrings came out from diving through the waves. But he had regular earrings and I will have the piercing ones with the grooves in the back. Do you think they'll stay in if I'm diving through the waves?
