How do i stop my search results from defaulting?

Whenever I search something, whether its from yahoo, bing, google, etc, I receive a list of search results but whenever I select a search, it never access the page. It states "redirect" in the tab bar and then goes to a different site. For example, I search for a random keyword, the search returns options, I select an option, then instead of it going to the site, it just states redirect and goes to a random site with other search options. I have tried to call my internet provider. It worked for a little while. I've tried deleting cookies as well as resetting my internet settings. Nothing has worked. Any suggestions on how to go directly to my search returns.
